Darwin's
theory of evolution is motivation of GA, whose basic
doctrine can be summarized as follows:
ü The personality of parents passed onto
their offsprings during reproduction.
ü Based on the ability of individuals to
adapt to their environment, they survive. Hence, individuals with better
fitness are liable to have more offsprings and thus drive the population
towards their favorable characters.
ü Offsprings' traits are partly inherited
form their parents and partly from the result of new traits generated through
mutation.
