PhD Background

During his PhD, Masoud worked on Symbiotic Evolution-Based Design of Fuzzy Inference Systems with Application to Active Suspension Systems in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield.

His research focused on evolutionary computation, fuzzy logic, and their application to active suspension system design. The work used Bond Graphs to model non-linear vehicle dynamics and demonstrated that Symbiotic Evolution coupled with fuzzy logic can produce efficient, robust controllers.
